Jeff Bryant

Jeff comes to the Boy Scouts from the business world. Jeff’s professional career is not your typical path. Having been the founding member of award winning Sony/Columbia Records recording group “Ricochet," Jeff spent over 20-plus years touring and performing throughout the US and abroad. Don’t let that part of Jeff’s resume fool you. While a part of Ricochet, Jeff was widely involved with many charitable organizations as well as being a spokesperson for institutions such as The Cumberland Science Museum. He also was responsible for conducting annual fundraising concert events for St. Jude Children’s Hospital and participating in various others.

After leaving Ricochet, Jeff was the National Director of Operations for Movie Music/ Cinema Presents. While there Jeff created and implemented a national program of distribution for CD vending machines and live-to-theater concert presentations, including the setup, supervision, accounting and restocking programs. The Company and support structures that he created were purchased by Regal Entertainment and are now utilized for Fathom Entertainment. Jeff once again returned to his musical roots starting a music publishing company as well as purchasing Westwood Sound Studios in Nashville TN.

While at Westwood Jeff handled management, scheduling, and marketing of a top-line recording studio. This included personally working with a multitude of award winning and platinum sell artists and personalities, as well as negotiating with record labels, artist management, and music publishing companies to evaluate budget proposals and contracts within an ever-changing environment .

Jeff recently moved to Vernon with Tammy, his wife of 22 years. Jeff and Tammy have 5 children (3 grown), Chris, Jennifer, and Jeremy, as well as 2 at home: his son, Ashton, a Bear Scout, and his 3 year old daughter, Aleise.

Prior to joining the Scouts Jeff worked for the Vernon ISD at McCord Elementary. Along with his duties as the Greenbelt District Executive, Jeff is also the Cubmaster for Pack 87 in Vernon and sits on the Youth Commission at the Boys and Girls Club of Vernon.  Jeff and his family attend First Baptist Church.

Jeff enjoys music, photography, and woodworking.
