The Activities Committee is charged with providing "mountaintop experiences" for Scouts and leaders through special activities. The Northwest Texas Council strives to plan a well balanced schedule of events, and recruit teams to carry them out. It works to decide how Scouting can become involved in selected needs of the communities of the council and help Scouting units take part in community service projects. It also works to promote and assist national events.
