Camporee is an annual camping event in which Scouts and leaders setup and run competitive Scouting events. The Scouts participate in the events by Patrol (a group of 4 to 8 Scouts). Patrols compete in events that require the knowledge of general Scouting skills and many events require a knowledge of ropes, knots and lashings.
The Patrols are watched as they participate in the events and then are rated, by the Scouters running the events, as to which Patrols best exemplified the Scout Oath and Law during their competition.

2010 Rendezvous April 9-11, 2010
PDF Link to Leaders Guide
Attention, Scouts of all ages! An opportunity like no other is fast approaching. This falls, Scouts from far and wide will descend upon the Rendezvous campgrounds, and you should plan to be a part of it!
So what is "Rendezvous?" Our Great Rendezvous will hearken back to the original rendezvous, which were gatherings of mountain men, fur-trappers, frontiersman, and traders. Yet it's also so much more! Adventurers and explorers pushed the limits of courage and endurance as they settled the American wilderness.
In this spirit, Scouts from the Northwest Texas Council and neighboring councils, will gather at our encampment to encounter exciting opportunities to challenge their own limits, to conquer their own horizons.
