Since the 1910s with the first local Boy Scout Troops and in June 1920 with the formation of the Council and its charter with National, Wichita Falls and surrounding communities have had the opportunity to be involved in Scouting. The Mission of the Boy Scouts of America is ‘To prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.’
